2021 was an amazing year in Real Estate for us and also on a personal level.   This year exceeded all expectations in every facet of our lives and I can only thank our God for blessing us with so many miracles. 

On Dec 13, my wife Tami gave birth to a baby girl who is named Havana Schäffer Anuenue (Hawaiian for rainbow).  Words cannot fully  describe this miracle.  So many people prayed for us as we went through do much of our own journey which included loss ourselves, but we were faithful and God provided.  I can remember Ps Joe Carr who prayed for us at the Chastain festival in Hamilton Mill in 2016 and also many folks who prayed with us at C3 Church.

I am also so excited that my 20 year old son Luke has been with us this holiday season.  This in itself is a true miracle as he ‘escaped’ from Australia as it goes through some very challenging times even more-so than USA.  Luke travelled here via Doha seeing the pyramids of Egypt and the Swiss French Alps whilst making a stop-over in New York.  He tells us often that his head is spinning with the slight (yet major) differences between the US and Australia.

REAL ESTATE NEWS

In Real Estate it has been an amazing year closing $5.1 million in sales volume.  For me personally, I so enjoy seeing families find their new homes whilst leaving their old homes behind.  Here are some short stories. 

The Speer’s and Mihoks  leaving their home of 20+ years in Dacula and moving to an acreage in Cleveland where they will eventually build their winery.

The Drew’s retiring and moving to Florida whilst leaving their 8+ acreage behind in Bogart, GA.  Their daughter moving to an incredible property in Maysville.

The Esterby’s leaving busy Lawrenceville for a beautifully built home on a 5 acre property in Social Circle.

The Genovese leaving their 5 acre property in Dallas GA and building their dream lakefront property on Lake Hartwell GA.

The Cioba's selling their home in Buford and are building a new home in Nicholson, GA.

The Yonko's selling their home in Lawrenceville for a record price.

The Williams family moving from Buford to a beautiful Hoschton estate home.

The Thomas's finding their dream home in the sought after Brookwood School District. 

The Herndon’s moving from Auburn to Troy, Alabama renovating a heritage home.  

The Cash family moving to an incredible property in Tucker with their new baby 

I consider a lot of these miracle stories especially considering the 'busyness' of this market.
